    Position of the extension module

As you can see, the extension modules can be placed at different sides of the playtower. For the Swing and Climb Module it is often also possible to choose a position on the first pole (front), back pole (back), left pole (left) or the right pole (right). The larger playtowers also have the position middle pole (center). Specific modules and their positions are only shown if the combination is possible with this playtower (safety wise). Is your favorite module not listed on the side where you wanted it? Then there is probably a good reason for it. For example, because the safe play area’s of play elements (e.g. of the swing and ladder) overlap. This is determined by our specialised team for optimal safety.

On the right side above the picture there is a top view of the playtower. This shows the dimensions of your designed result and if you created a safe play area. Always double check your climbing frame design!

Please note: the dimensions in the top view are rounded-off. To determine the exact dimensions, use the image measurements on the product pages of the playtowers and modules. IMPORTANT: The ‘length’ of the climbing frame is always the side of the direction of the slide.

    Play area Safety notes

Modules can not always placed the position you desire. This has two possible reasons:

    1. The design of the playtower does not allow the module to be placed at the specific position because of the safe play area’s of play elements.
    2. Swing area’s overlap. All Jungle Gym Climbing Frames are EN-71 certified. This certification applies only when it is constructed according to the provided assembly instructions. The top view shows that the construction Jungle Home 2-Swing Climb has an overlap in swing area, so the safety of this construction can not be ensured.

You can always check the playground planner in the manual of the specific extension module to see what the possibilities are for your specific garden play equipment. This image shows you where the module can be attached to the playtower.

An Example of a climbing frame design

An adventurous combination is the Jungle Home with 2-Swing on the position back (right) and the Bridge module on the right.

Design Your Own a Home 2 Swing Bridge

Now we replace the Bridge module with the Climb Module, as shown below in the top view, notice the striped gray color. Because of the overlap of Swing area’s we do not recommend this combination.

    Customize a Home 2-Swing Climb

Try the other side, another module or another playtower. Questions about the position of your extension module? Or need help designing your own climbing frame? Please contact us via the customer information page. We are happy to help!
