Assembly service

Ordering assembly

The assembly service should ideally be purchased at the same time as your climbing frame, and must be purchased within a week of ordering your climbing frame. This ensures the timber is still in the delivered condition when the assembly team arrives.

To ensure a smooth installation, the assembly will take place on a different day than the delivery. Within 2 weeks of delivery the assembly team will be in touch to arrange an appointment.

Please note that unfortunately, we do not offer assembly services in Scotland. For assembly service in Northern Ireland, an additional fee of approximately £0.75 per km may be charged for assemblies 40km outside of Belfast.

Preparing for assembly

• The space in your garden where your playground will be built, must be free of obstacles, such as stones, trees, roots, etc. For safety reasons, it is recommended that you have at least 2 metres of free space around the playground equipment.

• The surface on which the playground is to be built must be flat and level. Grass and/or sand are suitable surfaces. For hard surfaces, rubber tiles are recommended. Please see the general safety instructions for information on alternative surfaces.

• For detailed information on safe assembly, please refer to our assembly instructions. After reviewing them and consulting the assembly team, you will be able to determine the best place in your garden for your playground.

• The provided ground anchors are suitable for anchoring with or without concrete. If soil conditions allow stakes to be pulled out easily, cementing is required. Our assembly team can do this for you at an extra cost. For Jungle Gym playgrounds there is an estimated additional cost of ca. 20€ per anchor, including concrete. For Hy-land commercial playgrounds there is an estimated additional cost of ca. 100€ per anchor, including concrete. To determine the exact costs, please discuss this with the assembly team.

• During assembly there must be water and electricity available for the assembly team to use. While the assembly team is working, do not let children play nearby.

Changes to the original design

The playground will be set up according to the Jungle Gym or Hy-land assembly instructions, respectively. If you request the construction team to build the playground differently, this is at your own risk. Modifications may jeopardise the product’s warranty and the safety of its users.
